I needed to take some time for some stress relief today so my friend Karen and I decided to take in the sunshine and headed for the roof of our building to do some Zentangles. I am always amazed at the effect this has on the monkey chatter going on in my head! I find it an easy way to meditate. I think the concentration and the slow, precise movement of your pen on the paper, and the concentrated focus, helps to centre and calm the mind. I think I need to add doing Zentangles to my regular daily routine!

Now that you have introduced me to Zentangles I have become a Zentangle maniac. But I am jealous cause yours are so clever and artistic and mine look like black lumps.
